There are many ways to link into content on the site.

In general, links are made to {subdomain}.springer.com.

We do not support Outbound Resolver through OpenURL or any other means.  Only Inbound links are resolved.


Note:

  • For books in a series and articles within a journal, you must use the ISSN that existed for the series or journal at the time the individual item was published. If an ISSN changed, the new ISSN will not resolve correctly to an item that was published with the old ISSN. To find the ISSN of an item, see the About This section on the individual content item page on link.springer.com.
  • For journal pages, the ISSN to use is the latest one (E-ISSN or P-ISSN).
