Different ways you can sign in and access Nature Navigator
You need to have an account on Nature Navigator in order to use it. There are different ways to create and use an account on Nature Navigator.
Individual user account on Nature Navigator
Email and password
Nature Navigator leverages standard user accounts from Springer Nature, which can be setup by email address and password. Simply click on any of the Login/Signup button and use the option “email address” on the next screen.
Forgotten password
You can forget your password and can get locked out of your account. To reset your password, you can use the “Forgot your password?” link on the login screen. Or you can be directed to this link which provides steps to follow to get back in.
Locked account
If a teammate from your workspace is locked out of their account due to too many failed email/password login attempts, you can contact us [email protected] and we’d be happy to help. For locked accounts, once the email is entered and the user clicks on continue, the user will get the below screen and from here they can click send reset instructions button and reset link will be provided to the user on their entered email.
Google-based accounts
As an alternative to an email-based user account on Springer Nature, you can create and use an account connected to your Google login.
Note: We advise you to use your organizational/work email address to help us granting you extended access and functionality on Nature Navigator.
ORCID-based accounts
As an alternative to an email-based user account on Springer Nature, you can create and use an account connected to your ORCID account.
Enterprise-level authentication for organisations
Please contact us by email (navigator.nature.com) to speak about organizations-wide authentication and bespoke integration into your SSO infrastructure.
