Which indexes will index my article?

Springer Nature journals index articles in various indexing services, including Google Scholar, PMC, Web of Science, and SCOPUS, depending on the journal.


To see if your selected journal supports the index in question, please follow these simple steps, depending on the journal imprint:


Springer journals

Visit the journal homepage and scroll all the way down. You will find a complete list of supported indexing services under "Abstracted and indexed in".


BMC

Visit the journal homepage and click "About". You will find a complete list of supported indexing services under "Indexing Services".


Nature and Nature portfolio journals

Check About indexing/abstracting, where you will find a complete list. 


If you have not yet decided which journal you would like to publish with, please check Find the right journal for your manuscript.


Please generally allow around 6 weeks upon publication for your article to be indexed.
