Further training for rescue personnel (emergency paramedics, paramedics) is regulated by the relevant state rescue service law, according to which recognition is the responsibility of the relevant rescue service provider. The certificate of participation in the training course must be submitted to the employer for verification of recognition. The following recognition of further training units from the magazine ‘Notfall + Rettungsmedizin’ applies:
- The Malteser Hilfsdienst recognises 1.5 training hours upon successful completion of this training. A maximum of 10 training hours per year is recognised for this training format.
- The Academy for Rescue Services and Hazard Prevention of the State Fire Brigade School recognises 3 hours of further training per successful completion of further training.
- The Munich Fire Brigade/Fire Department recognises 3 hours of further training per successful completion of further training.
