As of December 11, 2018 our site went live with a new SpringerLink Chapter Checkout process. This is a new and optimized process that will make it easier to purchase chapters from SpringerLink. If you would like to place a chapter order from SpringerLink, please follow the steps listed below when you are on the SpringerLink chapter page that you wish to purchase.
Step 1 – From the SpringerLink Product Page, you will be able to purchase chapters as usual by clicking the buy button on the product page.
Step 2 – Go to the login / registration page. If you already have a personal SpringerLink, Springer Materials, Adis Insight or Springer.com account; you can use it to log on. If you need instructions to register / create an account in SpringerLink, please click here.
Step 3- If you are not already logged in, you will be prompted to confirm a "Your Springer Registration" message. If you register, you will receive a registration confirmation mail like the one listed below. It will request that you activate your account by clicking the word “here” in the Springer Registration confirmation email message.
Step 4 - Address
You will be able to choose between private / author and corporate customer. (It is possible to enter a company and department as billing address.)
Step 5 – Order Placement Page
Currently, payments can only be made by credit card.
Step 6 - Payment Page
Step 7 – Thank you page
You will be able to download the chapter PDF right after you place the order.
Step 8 - Confirmation Mail
(Please note, that this confirmation email is just an example, from a different order.) The confirmation email also contains a button to download the chapter.
