SNID on RS provides users with an option (not compulsory, this is important) to use one email ID to log into both RS and SN services (through the creation of the unified SNID). This is different from other versions of SNID because it remains optional and email accounts are not migrated, and profiles are not merged
The creation of SNID happens when you actively associate your RS email to the SN email.
