Discovery partner Open Access lists and journals that have recently changed to Open Access

We regret that we are experiencing an issue with our Open Access autoholdings feeds in which a small number of journals contain some links out to paywalled content.

This may happen when a journal has recently swapped from subscription or Hybrid status into a fully Open Access status. When added to an OA list for discovery partners, all volumes of the journal will be included, instead of only the ones with fully OA content.

Unfortunately, we do not currently have a functionality in our systems to partition a journal’s metadata in a way that would only send over fully-OA volumes in these feeds rather than the entire run of the journal that will include paywalled content.

Go to the ExLibris knowledge base for the 360: Open Access in Springer Nature title lists page for additional information. We can confirm that work is being done on the Springer Nature side, but there is currently no timeline for a resolution.

We apologize for the inconvenience in the meantime and hope to have a resolution live as soon as possible.
