Download MARC records for your entire eBook or journal holdings

In rare cases, you may want to add bibliographic records for all your licensed content to your library system. There are two ways to get the full set of records.

Download MARC records for each contract

Use this option if you can identify the collections, packages, or single titles, and the copyright years included in each contract.

  1. Find the licence agreement or invoice for each contract with Springer Nature. Contact your Licensing Manager if you need help identifying what you have licensed.
  2. For each contract, follow the steps in “Download MARC records for newly licensed content”, or open the bookmarked link from your first download.

Download MARC records for your full holdings

Use this option if you want to start from your current holdings instead.

  1. Go to the Holdings page in the Librarian Portal.
  2. Download the holdings report for “Available” or “Licensed” journals or eBooks.
  3. Open the report in Excel as a TSV file.
  4. Go to the MARC page in the Librarian Portal.
  5. Select Books or Journals.
  6. Select Single titles.
  7. Copy and paste ISBNs or ISSNs from the holdings report into the “Enter ISBNs/ISSNs to include” text field. Use batches of no more than 15,000 titles.
  8. Download your MARC records.
